Regular ol’ summer BBQs have officially met their match because Richardson has some of the best Texas BBQ restaurants in the area (and we don’t joke around when it comes to smoked meats and delicious sides). So come with an empty stomach, and join us on the Richardson BBQ Trail.
Starting off at Ten50 BBQ for some seriously moist brisket and made-from-scratch sides including macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, and their legendary jalapeño poppers (A.K.A. bacon-wrapped Torpedos). Plus, you can enjoy the weather on their picturesque patio or grab a beer at the bar.
Up next we have Spring Creek Barbeque. They’ve been slow-smoking Texas barbecue since 1980 and have had fans coming back for more ever since. The hot fresh rolls go perfectly with the baby back ribs, and the family pack is a feast worth sharing.
For a brisket sandwich that’s a cut above, Good Union Urban BBQ is the place to be. And if you’re more of a breakfast-all-day kinda person, their BBQ breakfast tacos are the perfect way to start your day off in the most TexMex way possible.
When you think of iconic Dallas barbecue, Sonny Bryan’s Smokehouse should come first to mind. The fall-off-the-bone ribs and tender brisket are a result of good roots and top-tier meats which have been feeding the DFW area since 1910.
Good portions and affordable prices: sounds like Dickey’s Barbecue Pit to us! With nearly 150 locations in the Lone Star State, the two Richardson locations are no exception to the moist, tender meats and endless fixins bar Texans have come to know and love.
At Woody B’s BBQ, you’re sure to find a slice of heaven no matter what you’re craving. The local mom-and-pop joint is a Richardson favorite, serving up unique Mesquite smoked meats you won’t find elsewhere (our favorite is the lemon peppered smoked salmon).
Last, but certainly not least, on the BBQ Trail is Texas Smokehouse Bar-B-Que. The casual, simple setting contrasts the delectable, rich flavors. Order the rib sandwich, Texas Po-Boy plate, or the overstuffed baked potato and fill ‘er up with any of their 16+ sides.
While we prefer our meats to be smoked nice and slow, you better bet we’re checking off these delicious Richardson BBQ joints as quickly as possible.
