I was misinformed. Her items were held, I learned today. Five Star

My daughter stayed here beginning December 12, 2025. Due to unforseen circumstances, she was not able return and check out. I called to explain the situation and that her mother could pick up the items in January since she was out of town. I paid the balance on the room and was told that her items would be kept for 30 days. A letter from my daughter would be required to pick up the items by January 30, 2026. My daughter sent a letter to her mother for the pickup. Due to health issues, her mother was going to do it just yesterday, but I've learned that the hotel did not keep my daughter's items, which were really quite valuable. That was a unbelievably disappointing for my daughter who has already lost so much. A zero star is appropriate but that's not an option. No reason to trust anything here.
